Hi

I am stuck on a William Thomson b c1759, who we know married Harriot Cunyngham Tannatt b 1760 in Jarmusch, New York. There is a suggestion he is an illegitimate son of the Argyll family whose father was a merchant in London. He became a Commissary General of Accompts in Canada.
