James Thomas Chandler, Gorton, Manchester

Wycliffe Report 18 Nov 2008 22:31

James Thomas Chandler is my paternal grandfather. I've traced his ancestry back quite a way, but I'm looking for info on his current descendants. My father William lost touch with him in the mid 1950s. I remember an Aunt Annie, but I don't remember any other aunts and uncles' names. I'm sure my father said he had more brothers and sisters in addition to Annie, but I can only find Eva who was born and died in 1914.

James was married to Rachel Ranson and then to Violet Fox. I thought he was an undertaker, but the records I've found have him listed as a miner and a general labourer.

The family lived in Gorton, Manchester.

Any help greatly appreciated.
