does anyone have the kavanaghs from ashford wicklow eire in their tree? my grandmother was bridget kavanagh who married a john byrne. grandparents lived in balleycullen (near ashford). bridget had 3 sisters, julia alice and ciss. i think ciss was actually called mary. my mother talks about an uncle jim who lived at 19 leeson ave off appien way ballsbridge dublin4. he used to visit them at christmastime.this uncle could be a brother to the girls. would love to hear that someone has a connection to this family. by the way, my mother was born in 1919.so this would make the kavanagh family to be born around 1890's |
