I believe he was registered as Henry Drake born 1816 in Findsbury but possibly Francis G Drake was not his father as it shows he died during ww1 a year before |

Hi I came across this thread during research for my grandfather's family. My grand father was Francis George Barber, born in 1913, and is the youngest brother of Rosina Barber, who is my great aunt. His parents were Charles Barber and Elizabeth Farrington, and of his 13 siblings I remember him talking most about his sisters Becky, Alice and Sarah. My grandfather was always called by his middle name, George, and I don't think that many people known his first name was Francis. He married my Nan, Ada Dorothy Stevens, and they had two children, Peter, who died at the age of 18, and my father, George Robert Barber. |

There was rumour that Rosina Married Francis Drake to give her son a name, and the family did live in Finsbury for a while, |
