Hi my name is Lisa Andrews. my paternal grandmother was Joan Hindley b: 1922, Manchester. Joan married my grandfather Leonard Andrews.

Joans parents were Charles Edward Hindley b:1891 Newton Prestwich and Jessie Bryan (O'Brien) b:1889, Manchester. Charles and Jessie had one other chiild I know of a boy Leslie Hindley b: 1920.

Charles was the son of William Hindley who was born around 1857 Miles Platting, Manchester and Martha Hadfield born around 1859 in Manchester.

William and Martha married in 1880 and according to the 1881 Census they were living 45 Holland Street, Newton, Lancashire. William's occupation was listed as Master Clogger employing one man.

If anyone as any information relating to these people or believe there may be a connection I would love to hear from you.
