Thanks very much for info on birth and death of Reginald Welch. I know that Edith Long was alive in 1973, so that's all I know as my grandma, Gladys, her sister died in 1974.

I have just tried looking at a few sites and nothing I have only googled french bmd's and looked at a few of them.

have been thinking about this and am wondering if we are getting 2 families mixed up???

Clara was born 13/12/1903 in Horton, Bradford

Fred was born 1904, so between September & December when Jane dies on the 06/12/04 in Horton.

At the moment I can't find a birth for Fred either but i am unsure he would have been born abroard.

You said you had the wrong birth certs for May & John please could you send them to me anyway.

I am going to get a very large glass of wine and see if that helps!!lol

Thanks so much for finding marriage of Edith Long, my gt aunt, I now have the three children's names from FBM, I recognise Iris and Pam.
Is is possible for you to look any more children of Edith Long and Reginald Welch, the other one I found in Wandsworth was Robert. Also, could you please look up the deaths of Edith Long (probably from 1970 to 1980, and Reginald Welch who died before that.

Unless Breadslade is the name of a house I think you'll find it was the parish of St Brelade.

grt. Grandfathers family. His name was Joseph Bishop born in Breadslade Jersey in 1844 he married Fanny Viner and they had 7 children and the only one i have any info. is Grt Grandfather George Gilman.
