hi there mad mum, could you look up the marriage of my great great grandfather. I managed to find them in the 1861 census . staying in 53 born Hull yorkshire his name is not mentioned , only his wife with children, her name was martha Whare, do not know his name, but my great grandfather was james with sister Louisa and brother william. Eager to find who he was and when they got married. also gg grandmothers maiden name. I live in South Africa so am not sure where yorkshire is, if it is close to your research! would be great if you could help.

she appears in 1881 census living in edinburgh aged 17, and again in 1901 aged 37 and her place of birth is listed as dundee, forfar. Her parents are James Brown and Helen Smith, I also can't find any record of their marriage. could you find any of them in an earlier census please
