Now I have a real challenge for you. Trying to find my G GF step siblings on the 1901 census.
G GF Charles Collingwood b 1893 Sculcoats Yorkshire
Father also Charles b 1849 Melton Yorks
Mother Emily Eleanor Gillender (nee Hobson) b 1851 Hunslet Leeds.
Charles and Emily married St Mary Church Barton Upon Humber Lincs 1892.
Charles Snr 1st wife Dinah Allison died 1890 in childbirth.
Emily is also a widower - her 1st husband James Young Gillender b 1844 Gateshead Tyne and Wear died 1890 Barton upon Humber. James and Emily were married 1868 Middlesbourgh.
James and Emily had 5 Children:
Michael Thomas Gillender b 1870 Stockton on Tees. He married either Ellen Louisa Keal or Susanna Lambert 1892 in Barton upon Humber. He is listed on 1881 as Michael and on the 1891 as Thomas.
James b 1872 Stockton upon Tees. Died 1889 Barton upon Humber.
Elizaberth b 1874 Hull, Yorkshire. Married Arthur Barratt 1899 Barton Upon Humber.
Eva b 1879 Barton Upon Humber. Married Thomas Gulliver 1903 Barton Upon Humber
Alfred b 1883 Barton Upon Humber. Died 1905 Barton Upon Humber.
I am trying to find our where Alfred and Eva are living as they are not listed with the Collingwood family who were living Fleetgate Barton Upon Humber. The family seemed well off Charles was a Brickmaker (employer) and took over Emily's Mineral Water Business so don't think they would be in service.

Hi Michelle, I would be really grateful if you could help me once again but with a different family this time.

I am looking for a Daniel Cork(e) born c1845.

I know he can't be found on the 1851 census (I think the family were travellers).

I have him on the 1871, 1881 and 1901 and am wondering why I haven't got him on 1861 or 1891. I have been tidying up and hope I haven't mislaid them!!!

Just to confuse things, on the 1871 he was born in Chelsea, Middlesex and on the 1881 in Chelsea, Surrey!! Take your pick.

His father was Richard Cork(e) and I have him on '61, '71 and '81.

Daniel's wife's name was Olive.

I would be very grateful for census lookups for 2 brothers Edwin (or Edward) Goater born c. 1863 in Hampshire and Henry James Goater born c. 1854 also Hampshire. Father (should be) Henry a horse trainer.

Both brothers end up in Alberta, Canada in the late 1880s so I know the end of the story but need the background to check I'm following the right people (it would help if people had a bit more imagination with child naming!!!).

if you could assist with 1861 and 1871 for Henry James and 1871 for Edwin I would be delighted.

I need a little help looking for a relative on my husbands side. I'm trying to trace an Alice Maud Mary Busby I want to know where she was born and her parents if poss. She married a William Henry Eaves in Sept 1904 in Coventry at the time she was living in The Green Man, Much Park Street, Coventry. The marriage cert is alittle confussing with her age she was either born in 1878 or 1880. I hope you can help.

Did add a request the other evening but just relised mixed up my surnames sorry. Looking for Thomas Wright (sometimes shown as R) Hawkins DOB c1872 occupation Labourer married to Sarah Ellen DOB c1876 both born Liverpool, married in 1892. Living in Liverpool Children Susan 1893, John 1895, Nillie (son) 1897 and George 1899.

Hope you can help clear some doubts. The info below is all I have and may not be accurate

My name is Derek Crabtree and looking for relatives before 1820.
Jonathan Crabtree born 1820 in Hebdon Bridge, Yorkshire.
Apparent two wives; Mary Allison 1831 And Jane Ellison 1845 I think both were born in Bishop Aukland, Durham.
Between them they had about 10 Children.
As far as I am aware Jonathans farther was also a Jonathan and possible wife Betty.

His Father was born about 1808 and married around 1782ish in maybe Halifax area.

Its becoming a nightmare trying to verify anyone as there are so many Jonathans in the yorks, lancs areas.

Can you please help with the following. Charles Stamp born the illegitmate son of Hannah Stamp & George Cane in Bramley, Hampshire on about 11/03/1842.

Where was he on the 1851 census? With his father in Bramley or his mother who was now married to William James Irvine and possibly living in Poplar.
