I am not sure if I have contacted you before about my brick wall so apologises if I have. I have a Robert James Keith Macquire(Muguire)aged 27 marrying on DEc 1906 at Brentford Middlesex to a Flora(Florence)Alice Roberts aged 22. Address for Robert was 32 Lampton Road Hounslow address for FLora was 22 Bath Road Hounslow. Witnesses were P Sheppard & N J Harris. Father's names were Frederick Mugquire & George Roberts (Private Soldier) I am not sure if this may have been her brother not dad because of father's age at time. I have Robert as being born in Croydon ??? and Flora as Hounslow?? my problem is I can't go back any further both lines have disappeared. Please can you help. Thank you Nichola

I can see you are busy with Jill, so when you get the chance could you have a go at my mystery please.

On the 1841 census I have living in Spon Street Coventry -

John Taylor, aged 47, Watchmaker.
His wife Elizabeth, aged 49.
Son William, aged 20, Watchmaker. (I have researched him successfully)
Daughter Elizabeth, aged 15
Another Elizabeth (presumably Taylor), aged 9.
Mary Ann (presumably Taylor), aged 5

This family just dissapears (with the exception of william) after this census, I have tried all variations of Taylor as well as searching for a John born 1790-1795, same for Elizabeth.

I have all of John and Elizabeth's children who were married before this census was taken.

All John and Elizabeth's children (that I have) were born in Leamington Warks, John was born in Coventry and must have moved to Leamington before 1818 and then back to Coventry after Elizabeth was born (1826) - and the 1841 census.

Maybe your eyes can suss them out somewhere, 'cos sure as heck I can't find them and I doubt that they all died within10 years.

What a shame that Thomas wasn't at home with Florence on the 1901! I had some credits left on the 1911 and found this

What is odd is this 1871? He is listed here as 33 which is married 13 years which they were 1897 would make him 20 at marriage. I wonder if he pretended to be older as at age was under the full age for marriage which was 21?It of course could be a transcript error and he could be 43?I didnt have enough credits to check the image.
Will see what more i can find on earlier census records now i have a possible birthplace for Thomas.

Hi Michelle, the info i am trying to find is on my grandads side Warners. My grandad is James Charles Warner born 1909 West Ham London, he married Irene Doris Ellis 10th oct 1940. His parents were Thomas John Warner born 1878 married Florence Warner (born 1876) on 27th August 1897. Parish of Leyton Essex. I now have the marriage cert for thomas John n Florence he was 26 years and she was 21 years his father is George Warner and is deceased on the cert and its his dad that i now want to trace, is this possible with no other info. Florence's dad is Alfred William Johnson. Thomas John's Rank of profession is a horsekeeper. The marriage of Thomas and Flo was in the presence of Rebecca Clarke and Walter someone cant read it. Look forward to hearing from you.
