Going to send for Ellen Smiths death certificate for Tamworth 1917 as age matches .wondered if you have any record look up for Arley around 1923 to see if any Smiths there or for Polesworth .I know its a lot to ask but got a feeling other realatives are there .Also anything on Mary and Herbert Flowers .

here is the poss 1871 i have found in same area as marriage was and since the marriage was 3 months or so after this could well be a poss.Only 1 i could see that fits really.Sarah v.young but they did marry v.young in those days and not uncommon at 16.

Been hard at work on yours and with flu so there is dedication for you!!I will show you what i have found and see what you think and also ask you whether you know if this is Sarah and James on the 1881?Think the age for Sarah is out slightly and should be around 1855 i think she was younger than him when they married and she may have said she was older.Interesting is the 1st child is born in Winchester-area where marriage of 1871 was.

No sign in the name Bethany,Bathney,Amy on the census records.I think its quite likely that because the family were fair folk that they travelled alot and would explain why they are missing in the 1871.The only Amy on the 1871 is this 1 born c1854
