I have an Emily Kivles who was born abt 1863 in Sheffield (according to a later census under her married name) as she married a Peter Anderson, of which I have the marriage certificate. Her father's name was John (according to this certificate), but I can't seem to find ANY record of the family beforehand (apart from this marriage cert. which says the surname being spelt KIVLES). If you can help find in any of the censuses I would be most grateful. I just don't know where to go next.... Kind regards Emma

	Hi Michelle, Could I possibly ask for 2 more lookups please. Is there any sign of Marian Judd b. 1832 Odiham, Hants on the 1901 census. Also on the 1901 Lizzie M Robinson (nee Judd) b.1864 Christchurch, Hampshire. Her husband is William Shakespeare Robinson ( good name !!) Many thanks Regards Mary

	Nicola Only can see 1881,1891 and 1901 for him.So either he was not born Manners and this surname was taken on when his mother remarried or his birthyear is incorrect in later census records or his middle name was John and going by 1st name in early census records???Very odd.I suggest you get his marriage cert of 1878 and see what his father's name was and witnesses to marriage were.May help with opening more info from earlier census records. 	Catherine Hi i have looked on the BMD between the dates you mentioned and nothing,sorry i didn't get back to you i have been intending to go back to it and search a little earlier than you mentioned.But have been snowed under with requests.Have you tried contacting the record office for that area and asking them for advise?Do you know where he was buried?
