Now what i suggest you do so as not to waste too much money is to ask for the parents names to be checked against the above record. As you are sure it is William and Margaret then write their names and if the record above does not have parents as William and Margaret then you would not have wasted getting the cert. Where do you normally get your certs from?Why i ask is some reg offices will check against the record for you if you ring up.Depends really who you get when you ring. I have heard that some will do this service,so worth a try.
I think this one looks good because she was 22 when she married and her birth was registered in the last quarter of 1871, births were not registered straight away so she may have been born September October time.Which would make her 22 by Oct 23rd 1893.
I have seen possible marriages for the parents but there were a few to choose from.So best avenue is to get the birth certificate.
If Margaret Ann Jenkins was born in 1876 then this could be hers

Thank you for your help. I usually send on the internet for the certs. but I could go to our nearest registry office and see if they will look up it's not too far. With what you have said to do I have nothing to loose by visiting our local registry office and asking I'll give it a try or I may phone like you suggested I never thought about doing that thanks for the advice.
I couldn't find Elvira in 1891 either.
She said Maesteg was her birth place on the 1901 census too, this is in Bridgend or near by anyway.
I thought with a name like Elvira it would be easy I didn't count on her being so hard to trace.
I will try for Margarets if all fails on Elvira I could ask at the same time, I'll try anything once.

Can you please find anything on John Letson, born c1824 at Crew Park Parish, Ballinderry,Antrim. I know he married Elizabeth
Gillian/ Guilland /Gilliland (different spellings of surname) and they had a son James born c1842 in Ireland and a daughter Anna born July 1845 in Scotland.
I'm trying to find out Johns parents names and any siblings he may have had.

I think John may have died, as his wife married William Campbell and had 2 children to him, first born 1861. This is when Elizabeth moved to Greenock, Scotland.

Quick update on Elvira, phoned local office today but had to go to Bridgend office for info they gave me number to phone so phoned them they said they would check and ring me back in the mean time I rang Neath office just incase but the father didn't match. Bridgend rang back to say they had looked up the other 2 records and found only 1 with matching father. Certificate now on its way. Can't wait to see what news it brings.

the first surname im strugging with is lehm

my great great grandmother was ernestine eliza lehm born 1881 in london i know all the information on her ive managed to find 2 of her brothers erenest albert lehm born 1888 and gustave born 1886 (all in london) but i cant seem to find the last one who i believe is called willum (or something like that) if he isnt on the birth record im starting to wonder if he was the eldest and born in germany (as they have a german background) maybe this is the other reason i cant find their parents

Would it be possible to get a couple of census look ups please.

1871 census and 1881 census for Aaron Noon and Hannah Noon (nee Herring) I believe that they had a son called John. Hannah was born in Lowdham, but i believe that they moved to Heanor, derbyshire.
