Find Ancestors

I've now got birth and marraige certs. for emily may walker,matthew bell, (my grandparents) and their marraige cert.
i also have george william bell and louisa richardson marraige cert.15/05/1894.
louisa's father was james richardson,georges father was mathew bell,
and yes my search has taken me to Norforlk.

Hi yes 1st one i posted after you gave the birth details and a free site where you can search for indexes

If you check back you will see George and Louisa were married 1894 June qt Middlesbrough. gro ref vol 9d page 784.

If you get that marriage cert it will confirm both their ages. Both fathers names and occupations.
Also the witnesses might be useful as often they are family. Sometimes married sisters etc.

but did you find george and louisa's wedding date/year ?

if you then open the page(784)that is highlighted you get other names of people registered on that date and included is Richardson Louisa .so it looks like the parents were married by 1901 census. I will have a look for them

oh and the parents lived at 100 Crescent Road Middlesbrough.
