This is a long shot hope you can help.Looking for an Austrian family by the name of Alpenburg poss born around 1847 I have no idea of their departing port poss America I believe they arrived at Southhampton around 1897 ish ! Any help would be appreciated

Yes Hughes was her married name, her maiden name was Donaldson, Sarah Watt Donaldson born Baillieston Glasgow Scotland 1928. Her daughter Elaine Hughes was born in Baillieston as well in 1951.

The family orginally immigrated to Canada in 1952, but my Aunt came back about 1954-1955. She returned to Canada in 1957.

Good Morning Julia - Thanks for this offer. It will help so many people. I have several people I am interested in, most in one family, and two others that were with the family. All would be travelling from Germany to England

These people will have travelled to and from Germany several times from the period roughly 1893-1960, either as a family or individualy, and there are two other children born after 1893 for whom I have no details.
Also, Samuel Webster Turner b 1870/1, of whom I know came back,and died in England in 1896
Margaret Eliza Wells Webster Turner b 1864.
All these people were together in Germany, and some Arnulls may have travelled from Denmark during this time frame.
I know this is a big ask, but I will be eternally grateful for any part of this information if possible
