There are lots of Margaret Taylors born around 1860, but very few returning prior to 1900. Do you have the years of birth for the children, that may help with the search Thanks Julia
|
Do you have records for Germans travelling to England as I also have the following that were of German descent but they could have travelled somewhere before so can you try for me. They settled in London also.
Elizabeth Schang bc1930 Julia Schang b. 1852 Emily Schang b.1855 Frederick Schang b. 1858 Mary Schang b. 1859
So any Schang names from the year 1859 - 1861 please .... I think they used english names when here so maybe a surname search if possible.
Thanks - your a star.

He was still in U.S.A in 1940 [Draft card details], but died/buried in Lancashire in 1962. He obviously returned but I don't know when . Any help would be great. Thanks Molly

Hi Ray
Sorry for not coming back to you sooner.
I can find the entry for Barnard on the 1891 census from the info you've given, but I cant see an entry for incoming passengers. Can you post the info you've have found regarding the passenger lists.
Thanks Julia
|
Hi Julia
There is an entry for a Barnard West on Ancestry passenger lists.
Could you list all the family members associated with his entry:
Eliza West (born Hamble, Hants, England 1857) Walter William West (born Worthing, Sussex, England 1860) Walter William (born Nova Scotia, Canada 1886) Barnard Slater (born Nova Scotia, Canada 1889) Frederick William (born in Hamble, Hants, England 2 Apr 1891)
The date of arrival and ship would be useful too.
Cheers
Ray

Hi Kirsty
I cant see Percival, Donald or Noreen.
Maybe Donald and Noreen were born in the UK or stayed behind with their father if they were older.
Sorry I couldn't help.
