Hi Phillip, My g g g grandfather James Wilson was baptised at St Anne's Shankill, Belfast on 222/03/1805 and his mother was Margaret and his father was James, from Belfast - but there is no address for them or occupation so the trail goes cold. I really want to know more about James and Margaret Wilson, the parents of James Wilson, born 1805. OK tall order... what do you suggest? A marriage certificate would be fantastic or the birth cert of young James born 1805 - maybe would give more detail about the parents - but I don't know when they married and guess he was born a few months before his baptism. |

Also Phillip, my g g grandfather, Robert Wilson (born 1865) married Mary (Minnie) Ewing from a plantation in Lisburn, I believe. I would love to see a marriage certificate for them partly to confirm some addresses or family names. I would guess they married around 1887 - 1900? Sorry, I am sure this is too vague. Are they on a census anywhere? Co. Antrim? They had 2 children Kathleen and William ... any info on them would be great. She died in 1931. Huge thanks. |
