I have 1861 census for scotland with the kids staying with Aunty Mary Colvin Gibb but no adult parents with them. As I said it was a wealthy family & both children were students at home. I can't find Euphemia after her wedding which was in a Liverpool newspaper I searched using |

ok Euphemia Gibb who married in New Yorks america' daughters Euphemia Murray & Mary C Murray were living with Grandma Mary Colvin Gibb in the 1861 Census..... Maybe she took the kids back to America to be with thier parents? |

YEEHAA!! Just Found Euphemia Gibbs wedding!!!!! Married a William Murray in New York!! lol now that explains why I have 2 murray children born New york on a census with Mary Gibb! |

Hmmmm doubt it, she was born in Calcutta and none of the names match my tree. If she was going to stay with anyone I would guess it would be with 1 of her kids? |

Yeah Mary Colvin Gibb. Some of her children are Colvin/Gibbs as well and depending which census you look at she is down as Mary or Maria! |
