Hi Margaret
Do you have the prs for Culham, Oxfordshire? If so, I'd be grateful if you could look to see if there is a baptism for Mary BALL c.1782
Mary Ball married James Climpson in Jevington Sussex in 1816. On the 1861 census for Willingdon Sussex she is aged 80 and says she was born Cullam [sic] Oxfordshire.
regards Gill

IRENE Job Harris baptised 13/7/1776 Minster Lovell Oxfordshire married Sarah Mullington 27/10/1807 Churchill by Banns witnesses Martha Brewer, Maria Boulter. Sarah Mullington was baptised 30/7/1782 in Churchill she was the daughter of William and Sarah Mullington who had married14/12/1769 Chipping Norton William Mullington baptised 24/7/1737 Churchill Sarah Walker of Over Norton. William Mullington had previously been married to Mary Gardiner baptised 18/1/1735/6 Churchill buried 13/7/1763 Churchill they had one daughter Sarah baptised 5/6/1763 Churchill buried 5/6/1763 an infant.
William Mullington and Sarah nee Walker had the following children baptised in Churchill Thomas 19/1/1772 born 12/1/1772 married 22/11/1798 Ann Hows William 2/5/1775 married Elizabeth Larner in Churchill 8/11/1801 then Ann Clift 22/5/1809 when they were both widows. Mary 24/5/1778 Sarah 30/6/1782 who married JOB HARRIS
William Mullington 1737 was the son of Benjamin Mullington a farmer who married in Woodstock Hannah Gardiner 5/2/1734
The Gardiners marry into this family many times.
JOB HARRIS baptised 13/7/1776 married to Sarah Mullington had the following children baptised in Churchill Mary 19/9/1809 Abi 19/7/1811 Ann 7/11/1813 John 17/9/1815 James 23/3/1823 on the register his parents appear as LOT Harris and Sarah probably a mistranscription as you have him with his mother Sarah on the census.
ON ANCESTRY there are many trees with Job Harris on, I feel that the following is probably correct, but you of course may totally disregard it. I also have 2 Job Harris on my own tree, but they are from Islip and stay there, I checked to see if one of them was yours but not so.
Caesar Harris married 20/4/1769 Minster Lovell and was buried 15/6/1802 Minster Lovell he married Merrywell Paxford, from the Parish Register, they have Merrell on the trees on ancestry. she was baptised 26/12/1746 Bampton and buried 17/2/1791 of Kings Lovell in Minster Lovell. they had the following children baptised in Minster Lovell James 14/10.1770 John 20/4/1772 Abi 16/10/1774 JOB 13/7/1776 Thomas 15/10/1780 Ham and Hal baptised at the same time 28/3/1785 As you can see Job has siblings with the same names that he gives his own children, so probably a correct JOB.
Abit married Joseph Bridgeman 17/10/1789 Minster Lovell as an Abigail she had previously had a son Joseph baptised 27/3/1785 and buried 29/3/1785 Minster |Lovell also a daughter Susanna bapt 10/12/1787 born 6/1/1787 Minster Lovell.
CAESAR HARRIS I can find no baptism for a Caesar Harris but he married 20/4/1769 Minster Lovell and was buried Mister Lovell 15/6/1802 his wife Merrywell nee Paxford baptised 26/12/1746 Bampton was buried 17/2/1791 Minster Lovell.
I think it probably that CAESAR HARRIS as above was the son of Caesar Harris who married 8/10/1748 Minster Lovell and Ann Poultin they had baptised in Minster Lovell Thomas born in 1751 no date on the register Jonathan 1/2/1756 Stephen 14/3/1761 it seem probable that more children were born and baptised but the record does not show them. I also think that Caesar Harris as above was married previously to Ann Maids both of Taynton in Shipton Under Wychwood 22/9/1742 they had one child baptised 7/3/1744 Mary daughter of Cesar and Ann in Taynton, then they both disappear, no burial to be found I hope this helps.

PETER, last week a friend dropped off a copy of Family Tree for last December. It had an article on how to find the parish where your ancestors married from the GRO reference. I used the information to find your marriage between George Viner full age bachelor Gardener of Sunningwell son of John on 4/12/1844 in St Ebbes Oxford to Mary Ann Hardman full age spinster servant of Pensons Gardens daughter of Robert a painter deceased witnesses Joseph Parker, Maria Hardman by Banns it seemed a bit of a pain to start with, but nothing like the trouble of trawling through parish after parish..
