Hi Margaret, I got you link from a thread I started as I had hit a brick wall! I see that you are inundated with requests, so I hope you are able to look at this for me, it would be very much appreciated.
I have managed to trace back to my Great Great Grandfather, a Emanuel FERRIMAN with a dob approx 1813-1815 (Or possibly Baptised in 1815?) He became a master tailor, Marrying Mary Ferriman, Leafield Oxfordshire. Someone on my thread said that they found the baptism 1815 with parents named as Samuel and Mary. (Innkeeper).
As most people, I'm trying to find my way back as far as possible, and to try and find out any information about the people, siblings, occupations etc??
I dont know what information you could find on the cds you have, but anything would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Simon Ferriman.

Hi Margaret Wondered if you have any information on Dorothy Long born 1905 Wandsworth, she had a farm in 1950s in Wantage and her parents were George Long born Burbage, Wilts and Nellie Smith born 1867c Goosey, Reading. Dorothy's married name was Smith and they had a son John Smith born early 1940s. Also any help appreciated on Nellie Smith's parents. I have them on 1871 census in Wantage - Richard Smith 36 and Ellen Smith 39, and Nellie was 2 Thanks Sandra

I have a marriage that is said to have occurred in Thame Oxfordshire and I was wondering if you are able to check it out for me please.

Hi Margaret,
Please can you help me out again.
I have Martha Elizabeth Knott born 1850 in Haseley, Oxfordshire, possibly registered as Martha Knott. Is there any chance you can find her birth in your records please.
I don't think she belongs to Richard and Alice but wondered if she was an illegitimate child of Mary Ann Knott.
Thank you

Hi Margaret
I'm struggling to find records for the birth of two children born to John and Harriett (nee Hemmings) Edginton (may be recorded with spelling Edgington)
Firstly there is Julia Ann Edginton b 1850 Little Clanfield (8 months old in 1851 census)
Secondly there is Elizabeth Edginton b 1853/4 Bampton
This family have a tendency to list their children on the census records under different names to their birth records i.e Julia is listed as Ann in 1851. Therefore Elizabeth may have another first name of which I am unaware. I can't find records to match so I'm hoping you may find something in baptism records. Thank you.

Hi Margaret
I'm looking for the possible marriage or death of Albert Edward Walker.
The only information I have is he was mentioned on his Mother In Laws (Dorothy Naomi Dickson (nee McKinnon)) Death certificate in Dec 1976 - she died in Witney.
I believe Dorothy's daughter may have been called Naomi Dickson but I could be wrong and this is why I'm looking for any information on Albert!
Any help would be much appreciated.
