Trying to think of another angle here regarding the dad Henry (or Frederick). |

Also who are the witnesses on John's marriage certificate in 1901? |

I was looking at the address they were at in 1891 and also where Henry was born and think they are quite close together. |

The witnesses on John's marriage certificate were Mary Ann Payler, who was his wife's sister, and Michael B Megilley, who was living in the same street in Leeds as Mary Ann Payler. I don't think he is anything to do with the family. |

I know the age is wrong but it is worth seven pounds? |

Joanne | Report | 1 Oct 2008 15:02 |
I've already got that death certificate. |

Joanne, you would need to contact the relevant local council family history archives for that area |

Thanks Selena. |

OK, I think I'm officially going mad now. |

Joanne | Report | 1 Oct 2008 15:43 |
Got them. Sorry, I think I am definitely going mad. |

Selena in South East London | Report | 1 Oct 2008 16:19 |

I think the way forward would be to find out who was living at 9 Hull Street in 1898/1899. |

1891 England Census |

Selena in South East London | Report | 1 Oct 2008 16:25 |
So are we looking for a different year of death for Henry? |
|||
|
Joanne | Report | 1 Oct 2008 16:30 |
Sorry Selena, I think I'm confusing you here. |
|||
|
Selena in South East London | Report | 1 Oct 2008 16:30 |
Oh I totally misread that. I thought you found Henry the dad with the family on the 1891. |
|||
|
Joanne | Report | 1 Oct 2008 16:32 |
Think I'll try asking on a new thread. |

Joanne, I was thinking that you could look up Henry the dad, rather than Caroline. Henry registered one of the births didn't he and you have that address. |
