OK but it is still worth getting his birth cert to see if his actual date of birth is given -then if you post it here we could search with that info for any William George who died with that date of birth |

I only have the dates from the marriage cert so I will send off for the Birth, once it arrives I will send for the death. |

Not unless you can confirm the actual date of birth (by sending for his birth cert if you do not already know it) |

My Nan was the youngest of three girls, my nan was born 1922 and we think her father William George TRICE left about 1934 give or take a year. Last Known address 42 Elm Road, Mile End, Portsmouth. He was a Sergeant Major in the army, based in Colchester, Essex. |
