Hi. Could you please look up details of my gt.Uncle John Michael Marsh born 1881 in Blackburn to Edward and Ann Marsh.He was in KOSB 2nd Btln,No 7633. Died 14th October 1914.We know he fought in the Boar War and had been servin for about 13 years before going to France with the BEF. Thank you. Teresa

Signed up for 4 years service or Duration of War in the Labour Corp on 15th June 1915.
Religious Denomination: Catholic Demobbed on 31st March 1920 Birthplace: Notting Hill, London Occupation: Actor It also states he transferred to Kings Liverpool Regiment on 1st February 1917 and his regiment number was 61349. Height: 5ft 3 inches He was discharged due to Poor eyesight.
It also mentions a Henrietta Mareon Hatherillo born 22nd October 1911 in Twickenham. It also mentions 2 daughters but the document is very water damaged so is quite illegible.

Looking for info on private James Erly 14054 2nd Bn Northumberland Fusiliers died age 33 on 24th May 1915. Buried in Ypres. Son of Margaret and (the late) James Erly, of 5 Hilda Street, Station Road, Ossett Yorks

I'm trying to find any information on Thomas Southern Waldon born 1891 in Willington Quay Tyneside, his father was William & mother Frances his wife was Elizabeth Clark Waldon. He may have served in the East Kent Regt. Very grateful for any help. Gary

Hi Lesley, To avoid confusion this is the same one I asked about yesterday. Private W. Downey Royal Irish Regiment 6th Bn no. 2398 died 07/06/1917 near Ypres. He was born in Derry City. I would be very grateful for more details about him. Thanks. Susan

The Naval records of Medals do not exist online that I know of. The only records that are available to me is if the Serviceman died in the war he will then be on the Rolls.
This is probably the one you have viewed online.
