I was looking for a bertram crump marriage - but I can't find one

Just a thought don't know how much help it will be but one of my ancestors was registered Edith Rose but married as Rose Edith. May be Edward Richard could have been Richard Edward just clutching at straws really
Checked findmypast for Edward Richard Kitchen/Kitchin/Kitching in case there was a spelling error no luck there so far unfortunately

Here's an obsure potential, probably nothing. There was a Henry Thornton, [Roses fathers name] born in Poplar, London in 1875. There was also an Emily Williams who married there in the same year. Rose subsequently pops up in Manchester, as does henry. Perhaps they moved...[this made more sense yesterday.]

I've just searched for an Edward kitching marriage to an emily williams and I can't find one

I've dropped that tree owner a mail. Actually I think he's a cousin of mine [we're not a close family]. He hasn't logged on for six months though so not sure I'll get a reply.

I think your emails just go through ancestry as an intermediate. I think they forward them to an email address, so if he has the same email address as when he regisitered he will get an email from Ancestry.

Stretching it a bit but there was a Richard Edward Williams born in Poplar again in 1876...

Another Richard Edward Williams, born in Poplar in 1903. This could be red herring but there's a lot of coincidences...

I think i'm getting al tangled up betwen Rose |Thorntons thread and Edward Kitchings, with some Williams thrown in for spice. Gawd this is difficult!

There was an Edward Richard Willaims birth registered in 1905, the year after ERK was born, in West Derby lancashire. If he was illegitimate, his mother could have moved out of the barton upon Irwell area for his birth. But if the above is the Emily Williams, that would make her 40 or 41. Need to verify this williams link first i suppose.

I can't find a williams link but have only used free bmd, i've not looked on ancestry
