Greyghost and Gwyn I will try that now. In recent years we know a lot more . Have almost discovered a set of twins born to mothers sister in 1959. Still think my hubby as a half sibling. Thank you |

Are you in contact with David, who also seems to have Roland in his tree? |

There is a Peter Webster's birth registration showing in the New Forest RD 1947 with Mother's maiden name Webster, indicating that unless very coincidentally both parents were Webster, then the parents weren't married. This RD would not cover Brighton. There are other Peter's but none surname Lynd/s but one with mmn Webster in Manchester but he has a second initial. |

If the fathers name isn't on any birth certificate then there's no way of finding a birth where he could be the father |

my husband was born in nov 1946 as peter webster . His father was roland lynds from nova scotia and mother Rachael Webster from brighton england. After many years of searching in 2000 on a visit to canadian relatives he was told that when his father returned to canada after the war there was probably another baby besides himself that also belonged to roland lynds but born in england around 1946 -48. If anyone could help with any information we would be very grateful. |
