Now, I'm not sure these Frenches are related as they are in different sections of the workhouse. I've separated them into where they were born. That doesn't mean they are the same families, or that children from the same family weren't born in different villages.

Hi ozibird, many many thanks for all this information you have sent me...i wonder if this john french born 1844 is the one i'm after? what a life being in the work house at 7 years old! i wonder if David not charles was John's brother and this is where i can tie them up as i'm sure they are connected.....just wonder if Ann French was their mother but i supose it is hard to find our with them being in the work house and not being born on the 1841 census
