Was Gladys a witness to the marriage? Is that why she is mentioned on the cert? |

The Hall children we think were from Birmingham SarahEizabeth(sally) married a Charles Evans, Francis married a Frank Cullis and mary married a Ron Builder. I am not sure Gladys was really a Gladys only going on her son williams marriage cert. They might never have married which could be a possibillity William was married on xmas day 1924 to phoebe maria cooper at st johns church brierley hill west mids. Ali |

I have been unsuccessfully trying to trace my fathers family tree for him. Please help i really dont know which way to go and need expert advice. I am trying to trace the birth of his father William Reynolds in the midlands on 29th Nov 1902. I have search Dudley and Stourbridge areas but have all come back without success. On Williams marriage cert it states his father was Frederick, a puddler . .deceased. His mother was Gladys? We know gladys remarried and had three further childen all named Hall.. William had a brother George, and sisters Gladys and Daisy. My father has told me that they used to visit an aunt(possible Daisy) in Birmingham and that his father worked for a while in Wolverhampton, because i dont know where anyone came from i am finding this impossible. Anyone know a way forward? many thanks. Alison. |
