Trying to trace George Thompson. Parentage unknown.
Thought to have been a Mancunian
Born c1897 served Gordons WW1. Twice wounded/gassed.
Enlisted Oct 1914 discharged April 1919 to pension.
1931 lived Gaskell St, Newton Heath, Manchester.
Not married by 1936 but had one daughter who lost track in 1936.
Moved to Bury circa 1932. Address not known but it was a bungalow. Service nunbers are known.
