Unfortunately no Sam - this is all I get on the sites I am able to access.

You will need Tracey, or someone with access to World Ancestry to get any more detail.

Sorry,

I know it's a big ask but could you see if any of her brother's are on the lists please?
Albert John born 1899
Frederick Charles born 1902
William John born 1912
I know all three died in their eighties in Somerset.

Is this your Elsie?

Births Sep 1907
THATCHER Elsie Maud Marylebone 1a 546

Samspade

Samspade Report 12 Nov 2008 13:19

No,all her family stayed in Paulton. Her father insisted she went, can't remember the name of the young women's group she went with at the moment(or the name of the family),have it written down somewhere! Also on her second journey to canada she says she's coming back to England when she had no intention of returning.
It's given me plenty to think about :-)

WayneTracey

WayneTracey Report 12 Nov 2008 13:07

Maybe he was the family she was working for?

Is that why they insisted she go home?

Tracey,

May I ask which site you are finding these outgoing to Canada images on please?

It seems to give a lot more information than the sites I have.

Thanks,
