I was wondering if any there any willing experts out there who could help me

After a few months of doing what I thought was fairly well I think I've come up against my first major brick wall

I'm trying to find out the maiden name of my great great grandmother Catherine Amy b1856 in Southampton who was married to Alfred Taylor b1857 in Shadwell

I've tried to find a marriage for them and I've also tried to locate birth certificates for all 8 of their children to find her maiden name but had absolutely no joy at all

I've applied for birth certificates and they couldn't find them even though I have good dates for most and census for the family in 1901 and 1911 but that's it

The children are
