My father William (Bill) Stewart had two brothers Hugh (1904) & Jack(John) (1913) who both went to live in New Zealand. Jackie served aboard HMS (HMNZS) Leander. He is reported as being killed working on the docks when hit by a crane hook. Hugh I believe had at least two sons. Hugh born in 1937 where unknown possibly Wick & Lindsay born c1947. I think Hugh (1937) married an Inez Kennerley and they had a son Paul born c1960. I believe Paul had a daughter named Cassandra. I have recently received a photo which says Carlas 21st birthday. Written on the back is the following.Carla, Victor, Paul, Leeann, Ruth Kennerley (my Mother), Inez (me), Hugh & Lindsay in that order around the table. If anyone can help I would be grateful. |
