I am looking for the children, and other relevant dates for George and Alice Coomber (nee Smith).
They were married 4/11/1894, St John at Hackney.
Alice (1872) was the daughter of Henry and Eliza Smith (nee Broomhead)
George (1870), the son of Henry Coomber and mother unknown.

Have you looked for/found her on censuses after 1881?

Yes Flick. She was not with her parents in 1901 nor in the 1911 census someone found for me.

I will add that I have not found a date of death for her.
1881 is the last record I have found so far....including cross checking with other members with a similar person in their tree.

Her father apparantly had a shop, and that looks extremely likely.
I don't have any middle name recorded for her.
I was hoping I could find a 'Short' somewhere in the family to verify the Uncle Short, but I guess I will have to keep looking.

Alice had 13 siblings..7 deceased and 7 living as per the 1911 census. Quite possible there is another sister I haven't found yet that married a Short...I am missing 3 siblings, at least 1 of those may have been living in 1911.

TY safc and Belle...but as Henry was listed as a shopkeeper in the 1911 census, I think the marriage to George Coomber looks very positive.

Yes, I am sorry, should have been clearer when I rewrote the opening comments, but back then I was looking for the marriage of Alice, and I didn't want anyone to read it and start looking again.
With a watched thread, email notification is sent when there is a response, so instead of me sitting here refreshing every few minutes, I can do real life things, and hear the emails :-D

The only death I can find for Alice that fits in age wise is 1944, Essex S W.
The same with George, Essex S W 1942.
Can someone please confirm I have found the right ones.
Now to find the children.

There appears to be only 1 name I can find that married George's father...Mary Wright, June 1865, Kensington, again, some help please to confirm this.
