Irene Rooks -Ward brn Hull 1940

My best friend Irene Rooks born Hullc1940 was adopted together with her brother David and name changed to Ward,
Lived on Alliance Ave Hull
Went to America in 1960's and linked her name as Rooks-Ward. and we have lost touch.
Names for Irenes original family - David 1941,
Barbara 1939, Margaret R 1936, Betina 1934, Audrey 1931, mothers maiden name Mason. all born in ~Hull. Were they evacuated or also adopted ?
What became of the others and are they in touch with each other. If any of this rings a bell and puts me in touch with someone who is in touch with Irene I would be most grateful.
