I can find my great aunts hsbands fathers birth and marriage information, but I cannot find any Census data for him on the Census data??? does anyone know why? |

I think the Dec 1882 birth I posted above and have repeated here is more likely - though he may well have been a sib of the Thomas who died Jun qtr 1882. |

Edward aged one in Mike's census 1881 might be the first Thomas Edward, so maybe the two Thomas Edwards were siblings; Richard was a labourer in census 1891, did he give up the sea? |

Yes, the odds are that the first Thomas died so they named the next son the same name. |
