I should have stayed around then instead of logging off and doing something else. Sorry I missed you.

Warm but cloudy day. Lots of flowering shrubs adding their fragrance to the air. Makes walks so much more enjoyable.

I've done my good deed for the day. Two blackbirds giving off alarm calls non-stop - what good parents. I peered into the bushes and there was a cat. Wouldn't move when I shooed it so I picked up nearby tin can (litter can have it's uses) and I banged it hard against the wall. Cat shot off hotly pursued by the blackbirds.
Fingers crossed it didn't return.

The sun is coming up too early. Awake at 5.30 again today. Must adjust to summertime closing down time - seems it is going to feel a bit more like it over the next few days. Hurrah.

Yes Michael. That's not new. Used to object to being called Jeanie and when people called me that I would make some comment about rubbing my lamp! However, in the end realised that only the males that fancied me called me Jeanie so I could discourage or encourage depending on who it was. Quite handy that.
