Here I is!!

went out today for the first time since Wednesday, when I did my hamstring in again

Finally felt able to tackle steps, and hard chairs!

Only went for coffee, and OH took me for a quick trip to the shop at Ikea ...... it's accessed directly from the car park, and I needed to replenish my supply of Elderflower and Lingonberry drinks!

Only in the garden!!

No, seriously though, yes even after 30 years of searching, I still manage to find more information to add to the tree. Had a huge branch added in the last few months.

Hi Sylvie

Yes, retirement does have it's good points. Trouble is you have to get old to reach it - unless you're loaded of course.

Hi Sylvia

That sort of excitement I can do without. Glad I no longer have to deal with rush hours either. At least one of the benefits of retirement is that you can wake up when you wake up most of the time.

All peaceful round the blackbird nest area this morning. Not sure whether that is a good or a bad sign. Maybe Mum is just sitting on the nest quietly and Dad is out looking for food. I'm hoping so.

Hi Jeanie

that sounds as though it was a lovely walk, and a good deed as well

We had a lovely sunny day, until about 4pm when this storm rolled through ..... thunder, lightening, gale force winds and heavy rain. The worst was over in about 90 minutes ...... by which time 2 trees had fallen onto, or were dangerously overhanging, 2 different commuter lines, and 20,000 homes were without electricity!!

All of course happening at rush hour!

Quite exciting, and quite unusual for this time of year!
