Hi there,
I'm trying to find Edith Mary Evans (nee) Plaskett, born in Bangor North Wales in 1926., or any of her relatives. Edith Plaskett was the sister of Pilot Officer Stanley Plaskett RAFVR , a bomb aimer lost with his crew in 106 Sqn. Lancaster ED451 over Essen 30th.April 1943. Stanley was born 1922 in Bangor also, and their parents were Clive and Margaret. Clive originally came from Cockermouth Cumbria and married Margaret (Williams) in Birkenhead. The pilot of the crew was my cousin, Sgt.Sydney Abel and I have been writing the story of their time together on 106 Squadron at Syerston in 1943.
Edith later married Mr. Evans in Jan/March 1953., in Bangor, I would like to get in touch with Edith or any of her family.
Cheers, John
