I am interested in trying to find any other Peats. My grandfather Edward was killed in the first world war, he had two sons, my father being the eldest, I am the only grandchild. Would be interested to learn of any other family members. |

Hi Erica, your post is quite old and so you may no longer be following it. Your cousin, Wendy Nicholls, nee PEATS, is attempting to locate you from the UK. Wendy will be visiting the Tyne Cot Cemetery and Memorial for the Centenary of the Third Battle of Ypres, in memory of your grandfather Edward. She would like to contact you, and is hoping that you may have a photograph of Edward which may be added to the Commemorative Log at Tyne Cot. If you are using Facebook, her post looking for you is shared to the Fallen Diggers Facebook Page (based out of Melbourne). Good luck, I hope you are able to connect with your Peats family. |
