I have hit a brick wall trying to find any descendants of my father's uncle Fred (Thomas Frederick Hall) Parks. The family never spoke of him and we certainly never met him. He was the younger brother of my grandmother, Alice Naomi Hall Parks, both born in Eastbourne, and their father Samuel Hall Parks (born Rotherfield 1859, died 1928) had a clock and watchmaker's shop in Seaside, Eastbourne. With help from GR I now have a wife for Fred, Harriet Verrall. I have been in contact with someone else who has Harriet on her tree, but her family never talked about this branch either, so I'm wondering what the great mystery is (some scandal perhaps?) |
