I am trying to find an adopted person who was adopted in 1951. Her Birth Name was Pamela Doris Brown bn. 30/01/1951 Pembury Hospital and we know that Croydon Court dealt with the adoption. I have managed to write down over 900 girls names who were adopted in that year from the index's in London before the Family Record Centre was closed. I unfortunately lost the orginal list when i transfered those names and sorted them on my computer. Is there anyone able to search the 1948 list of Girls (Child adopted to the same family) by cross Referencing the names i have in May and june of 1951. I am unable to get to Kew. There are 27 names in those months. I have sent for 14 Adoption Certificates so far and they have not been the one we want. |
