Can anyone help with Irish family history?
I'm trying to find out more about John Connell O'Brien my G.Grand father.I believe he was Irish.I found him on marriage cert. of his son Patrick(my grandfather)dated 1924 John is named as father deceased , a soldier.
I was always told my grand parents came from Ireland but their marriage was in Leicester, where we all grew up.
Patrick's mother Mary Cunningham remarried to Francise Leete and had another family.(in Leicester)
Patrick didn't come to Leicester until the time of his marriage, where was he?
thank you.
