John and William Morgan were stone masons. They moved from Birkenhead in the 1850's.They lived in Huddersfield and Bradford,John ,the son, married Annie Ellingthorp(e) and father William lived with them.Annies father called Robert was a butcher in Bowling,Bradford.I believe there is or was a street named Ellingthorpe street where the shop was.Robert was married 3 times,I thin, but unusually he married to two sisters.thier maiden name was Brady.Agnes and Bridget died quite young but I'm sure there must be some next of kin still around the area that could help me close a few gaps in my search.John and Annie were my great grandparents.Their children were Ethel,Annie and Jessie |
