I am desperately trying to trace my Dad's side of the family. His name was Alexander Prosser Moran and he died twenty years ago. He was born July 11th 1926. I never met a single living relative of his. He was one of six children and grew up in Kilsythe, Stirling, Scotland. This is what i know: Siblings: Jean; she may have married but i have no idea of who to. I know she continued to live in Scotland, possibly she stayed in Kilsythe. I think she died in the 1980's. She would have been born between 1905 and 1910.

Annie Lessels Duff Moran; married Robert Stirling and died in 1950 aged 42. She had two sons, Robert who may have married and had children who died in 1973 aged 40. She had another son William Stirling who may also have married and had children and may well still be alive.

Finley Duff Moran who was born in 1921 and served in the Army. He moved to Coventry and married a lady called Ellen. I believe he died in the early 1980's. I'm pretty sure he had children.

His other two siblings died in childhood.

I must have second cousins out there somewhere descended from his siblings. Any information would be so welcomed.

I have had luck tracing ancestors from his Mothers side going back quite far but am hitting brick walls with close relatives and the Moran name is drawing a complete blank.

Many Thanks to any one that can help.
