Iam searching for any information on my grandad George Paterson Mckenna born 06.06.1936 in Camlachie Glasgow. He had quite a few brothers and sisters. Edward Mckenna born in 1934 Camlachie Glasgow is the only one i know anything about. He had about 5 other brothers and sisters one of which i think was called Irene who was born after 1936. They were all split up when both their parents died when all the children were very young. Im not sure but i think their mother who i have no name for died around 1941. Their dad died a few years after and i think he may have been Thomas Mckenna. George then went into the Argyle and Sutherland Highlanders Army then moved to bradford and married Lorna Mckenna in Bradford. I would really like to find out any information on this family however it is very hard because i don't know the mothers name. If theirs any information that anyone can give i would be very grateful Chloe |
