If the twin was stillborn, it would not have been registered at all. If it lived, albiet for only a few minutes, then we need the parent's names to find it. |

None of the numbers are close enough to be a twin. If it was one number either side of Lilian's it might be worth considering. |

What about this one |

Troble with that one Sheila is that they are five pages apart - so it would be unlikely to be a match. If they were one page apart it would be a possibility ... |

Have you the cert for your aunt Lillian to confirm you have the correct birth? |

Thanks for your comments, I do not have any certs, for her. Jusy know that she was A Twin and that she was born April 1909. I also have to look for a missing baby in the same family between 190i and 1905. I know that one of them was called George , as that is the family name. Would like to establish his birth/death . I think one of the two above may have been a girl, as my Father was the first surving boy in the family, and he was called charles george, (not George as first name) which was the family tradition. |

If your aunt's twin was born alive, there should be mention of the birth ( but not the name) in the 1911 census for the family, which records children born of a marriage and any deaths of them. |

Hi Gwen (just back from lunch). I have the 1911 census, no mention of the twin or the "missing" child, unfortuneatly her only child is now also deceased, so maybe will never know! |

Eileen, does it say where the dead child was in family? |
