Researching Alice Louisa Williams MARSHALL, eldest daughter of Edwin Marshall (a Shipwright) and Louisa WILLIAMS (b, 29/03/1862 in Southampton; d. 24/01/1947 in Southend-on-Sea); married Duncan WILKIE (a baker in the Merchant Navy) on 23/08/1882 West Ham, London. At the time of her marriage, her father was dead and Alice's mother Louisa ran a boarding house at 16 Wightman Street, off Victoria Dock Road in Canning Town, London. The street was bombed during the Blitz. Would like to trace other descendants and exchange family info. Many thanks, |
