Kathryn, Hello there. I am researching the Lefley tree in the most comprehensive way, and I have not yet found any line that came from France. (I've researched as far back as the 1700's) I do have every Norfolk Lefley (there are lots and lote of them), so if you can give me a little more detial, perhaps some rough dates and districts I should be able to locate your line. You may be interested to know that having collected EVERY single birth, marriage and death of EVERY variant spelling of Leffley Lefley Leftley Leftly etc, I have been able to pretty much put them all together, and am confident enought to say that they are all related. I hope that is helpful. Do leave another message if you would like help. Alternatively if you go to Yahoo GROUPS I run a Lefley web group. (free) You'd be very welcome :-) Brenda |

Hello, im also looking into the LEFLEY side of my family starting at a Herbert Lefley, my grandad on my fathers side. I know he was from Glanford Brigg, Lincolnshire. Born 1-2-1916. His parents were Horace G Lefley (father) and Blanch Clark(mother). I have however stubmled accros something interesting for which i am seeking info. From looking at birth records for my grandad Herbert it look like he may well have had a twin sister, but i know nothing of this. could you help? |

These are the births Danielle meant (just in case she ever looks back at this!) - 1914, not 1916 : |
