Trying to find info and/or relatives of Nicky Kidd. Nicky was born in Scotland (poss Dundee or Motherwell) probably during the 1920s but not sure. He was a pianist with Jack Hylton's Band and a singer recording for Beltona Records in the 1950s. Not sure if Nicky was a derivative of his real name (Nicholas?) or a stage name.

He had a sister, also a singer, named MAY COOPER who married a jazz musician, CARL BARRITEAU. May and Carl moved to Australia in the 1960s where both died in the 1990s I think. Did they have any children?

Nicky visited them there in the 1980s with an elderly lady who was possibly his mother. He was not in the best of health and died a few years later back in Scotland I think.

If anyone can fill in any gaps in my very sketchy history I would be keen to hear from you.
