I have come to a dead end in my search on my mothers side.Grandfathers name was Arnold Kershaw, he was married to Alice nee Farrington, not sure if either had siblings. Both born around 1900 in Radcliffe. Found possible matches on 1901 Census site. They had 2 daughters Jean born 1927 and Irene (my mother)born 1931. My grandfather had a shoe shop and a cobblers shop, oneof which was in Cecil Rd in Blackley, Manchester. Can anyone help?? |
