Jean-Paul Report 8 Aug 2010 19:58

David Johnson is born in London Area circa 1822. May be in Berkshire, as at Bucklebury. His father is Thomas Johnson and his mother, Mary Ann Keinan (or Keenan). At 1841 England Census, I found out one David Johnson at Clewer Village, near a Thomas Johnson and a Mary Johnson, innkeepers at New Windsor. But link is to do.
I am searching the link between his parents, Thomas and Mary and also the link with this David Johnson and the one emigrated in Canada, probably via New York Port, may be on June 1842. May be he crossed the border from USA to Canada in 1843.
David emigrated to Canada before 1844. He lived at fist at Louiseville in Quebec and the most of the time at Joliette. He was a watchmaker and a jeweler. He died March 3, 1899, at Ste. Therese, Quebec, Canada.
