Hi

My Richard Hall was born in Leek in 1774 to Hugh and Amy Hall. I can find no siblings for Richard.

Hugh’s parents were Thomas Hall and Mary Palmer (Palmar?) who married at Leek on 6 April 1743 and they had children christened at the Leek Parish Church as follows:

William 1750, Thomas 1752, Hugh 1754, Joseph 1759, Ralph 1762, William 1763 and Margaret 1765.

I would like more info on the Leek Halls, it seems there were quite a few of them. Also, do they relate to the HALLS of nearby Grindon/Wetton/Waterfall?

I hope someone may be able to help.

Best wishes, Ross of Canberra
